Please remember that your communications will be filtered through staff members. The likelihood of your message actually reaching the President is almost nil. However, it certainly can’t hurt.
Write one letter a week, and when you finally get some sort of response (regardless from whom), start writing two letters a week! In other words, remind them constantly that you’re paying attention!
Public tours of the White House are limited to groups of 10 or more and must be requested through a member of Congress. These self-guided tours are available from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and are scheduled on a first come, first served basis approximately one month in advance. To contact your Representative and Senators, call (202) 224-3121.
If you’d prefer, here’s the House‘s contact information, and the Senate‘s.
